Whistler and Blackcomb Mountain

In this breath-taking panorama, you can see Whistler village, the top of the Blackcomb mountain and the Whistler Golf course.

One of British Columbia's most famous attractions, the Whistler/Blackcomb resort is a luxurious slice of paradise just two hours drive from Downtown Vancouver. Follow the scenic Sea-to- Sky Highway up from the ocean to the mountains, and you'll be in one of the world's top ski and snowboard resorts, catering to celebrities and the jet set, but still accessible to the average vacationer. Visitors to Whistler can visit for a day, or stay at any number of hotels or privately rented cabins. The prices can be quite steep in peak snowsports season, but good deals can be had in the summer, when the area is still a great spot for hiking and relaxing.

Whistler Blackcomb has many fine restaurants and shops, nightclubs and luxury hotels. Even if you're not a skier or snowboarder, chances are there is something for you to enjoy at this resort. Mountains are open for snow sports from late November to late April, weather permitting. For more information on accommodations, lift passes, equipment rental and transportation to the resort, visit the resort's website.
