Olympic Venues

The 2010 Opening and Closing Ceremonies will take place at BC Place Stadium in downtown Vancouver. Victory ceremonies will be held at BC Place Stadium and Whistler Village. The city of Vancouver will host a number of competition events including ice hockey, curling, figure skating and short track speed skating, as well as ice sledge hockey and wheelchair curling.

The city of Richmond will host the speed skating events at the new Richmond Oval venue (check out our Richmond Oval panorama). Freestyle skiing and snowboard events will be held at Cypress Mountain in West Vancouver. All other outdoor events will be held in Whistler including alpine skiing, biathlon, cross-country skiing, bobsleigh, and luge.
