Celebrate the Paralympics at Robson Square

Wondering what’s going on at Robson Square for the Paralympics?

Robson Square will be open daily from noon to 9 p.m. until the final day of the Paralympics (March 21, 2010). Robson Square is located in the heart of the city on Robson St. between Howe St. and Hornby St.  

The schedule of entertainment and concerts is as follows:

Monday, March 15- Shango Ashe- noon-1:30 p.m.
Tuesday, March 16- Steel Soul- noon to 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday, March 17-Mad Celts- noon to 1:30 p.m.
Thursday March 18-Van Django- noon to 1:30 p.m.
Friday March 19- Scott Robertson Swing Patrol- 5 p.m. to 6 p.m and YUCA- 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday March 20- Dal Richards Orchestra- 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Sunday March 21-Rolf Kempf Quartet- 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Other Robson Square Activities:


Ice skating @ the GE Plaza

The ice rink is open daily from noon to 9 p.m. It’s a great place for family fun. Skate rentals are only $3.

The BC Pavilion

Located on the fourth floor of the Vancouver Art Gallery. The BC pavilion features multimedia presentations and interactive displays that highlight the culture, business and people of the province. It’s open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. until March 21.

Zipline

You’ll fly right over Robson Street from six stories above. The Zipline is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. until March 21.
