Monday, July 19, 2010 – YWCA Camp Fun Girl

Enroll your daughter in the YWCA Camp Fun Girl from July 19 to 23 or from July 26 to 30. This one-week day camp for girls ages nine to 13 aims to empower them through a variety of fun outdoor activities and workshops, plus it helps girls develop the strength, knowledge and skills they need to address issues they will face as teens. Tuesday, July 20, 2010 – Persona

The Seymour Art Gallery (4360 Gallant Ave.) will be showing Persona, a brother and sister collaboration by Tina and Jochen Schliessler, from July 20 to August 22. The siblings have come together to create a unified body of work that consists of black and white portraits and drawings. The opening reception is tonight from 7-9 pm.

Wednesday, July 21, 2010 – The 4H Club

The Genus Theatre presents The 4H Club, part of this year's Neanderthal Arts Festival. The play is a brazenly comedic look at the follies of the newest incarnation of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. The story spans the past century as the dysfunctional quartet of Death, Famine, War and Pestilence barge their way through history. The 65 minute show premieres at the Vancouver East Cultural Center (The Cultch - 1895 Venables St). Tickets are $15 and may be purchased at Thal. See showtimes and info at the Genus Theatre site.

Thursday, July 22, 2010 – Cirque du Soleil KOOZA

KOOZA combines the art of clowning with acrobatic performance to tell the story of The Innocent, a loner looking for his place in the world. The show is a visual explosion of comic characters, surprises, and thrills. Friday, July 23, 2010 – Erica Sigurdson

The Comedy Mix (Century Plaza Hotel & Spa, 1015 Burrard St.) presents Headliner Erica Sigurdson, a Canadian comedian who has been featured on CBC radio's Madly Off in All Directions, Zed TV and the nationally broadcast Prairie Crop, filmed live at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival. Saturday, July 24, 2010 – MGMT
