What are you doing this week? If you need some summer activities, check out our top things to do this week in Vancouver:
Monday, August 16, 2010 – Cross Jelly On Display with Hitchhiking Anemone
Take a peek at a crazy cross jelly and its hitchhiking friend at the Vancouver Aquarium. The translucent jelly is common to B.C.’s coastal waters, and is used by some anemones as food in order to develop. The jellies are only here for the summer months, so see them while you can. Learn more at Visit Van Aqua.
Tuesday, August 17, 2010 – Vitaly Beckman
See a display of mind-bending magic and illusions at Havana Theatre (1212 Commercial Dr.) until the 21st. Vitaly Beckman's shows are filled with jaw-dropping illusions - see for yourself, every night at 8 pm. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, available at Highlife Records (1317 Commercial Dr.) or by calling (778) 228-5291.

Saturday, August 21, 2010 – Bryan Adams
We haven’t heard much from the Canadian singer-songwriter for awhile, but Adams is back, performing at Empire Fields (2901 East Hastings Street) for the PNE Fair. Go back to simpler times with an afternoon of classics like “Run to You” and “Summer of 69.” Get tickets for his 1 pm performance here.
