Things to Do: Science World at TELUS World of Science

Apr 09, 2008

Science World is more than just a Vancouver attraction, it is a city landmark, its geodesic dome shape standing out from Vancouver's angular skyline. Featuring hands-on, interactive displays, an OMNIMAX theatre with one of the world's largest curved screens, and an ever-changing presentation of touring exhibits, Science World is a great place to spend the day.

The dome is located at 1455 Quebec Street, along the Seawall, and it accessible by foot, car, or public transit (the Main Street-Science World Skytrain station lets you off just a few steps away). Hours of operation are Monday- Friday, 10am - 5pm; Weekends and Holidays, 10am - 6pm.

For admission rates, OMNIMAX film listings, and information on touring science exhibits, visit Science World's website. For free admission to Science World, along with many other Vancouver attractions check out our Smartvisit card. The See Vancouver & Beyond Smartvisit Card is your best option to see everything there is to see.
