  2. Haute Ink

My pain tolerance is low to nonexistent so I could never get a real tattoo. But temporary tattoos and Chanel ones to boot? That I could do. Models in Chanel’s 2010 Spring show were seen temporarily inked with chains, pearls, and the infamous intertwined C’s on their arms and legs. Designed by Chanel Global Creative Director Peter Philips, these tattoos are going from runway to reality and will be available in Chanel stores across Canada. The fashionista’s version of the badass tattoo, you can mix and match the pieces to make your very own work of art. Tattoo yourself with a little Chanel.

$75 CAD for a sheet of 55 tattoos.

  3. Who Wears Short Shorts?

Shorts are the new leggings, or so it seems. Wear them now with tights and when the warmer weather appears ditch the tights and show some leg. This season they are anywhere from modest to daring, with a lot of silhouettes featuring a mid to high waist and a cuffed leg. Take note: bike shorts are no longer limited to be worn while cycling. Layer them underneath mini skirts and shorter shorts. I like how the lace trim peeks out and adds a bit of cheekiness. Denim shorts are still a big hit with rolled cuffs or destroyed hems for that added 90s grunge factor. Oh and I mustn’t forget about silk shorts with lace edges (think lingerie) which are more risque but can be very sexy chic when done right. So ladies, when it comes to wearing shorts, the more leg the better!
