Don Lever - 1972-1980

Drafted 3rd overall by the Canucks in 1972. Lever reached the 20 goal mark 6 times in his time with the Canucks. At the time of his trade from the Canucks he was the Canucks all time points and goals leader. Played for Team Canada at the 1978 World Championships.

Dennis Kearns - 1971-1981

Played his entire NHL career with the Canucks. Kearns was claimed by Vancouver, in the Intra-League Draft. Averaged nearly fifty assists a season despite his small size for a defenceman. The Hockey News called him the "Denis Potvin" of the west.

André Boudrias - 1970-1976

Earned the nickname 'superpest' for his his tremendous skating and fore-checking abilities. Held the franchise record of 62 assists until it was broken by Henrik Sedin in 2006-2007. Boudrias finished first in team scoring in 4 out of the Canucks first 5 seasons.

Orland Kurtenbach - 1970-1974

Kurtenbach was named the Canucks first ever captain. Kurtenbach has been elected to the BC Hockey Hall of Fame. Played for the Canucks when they first became an NHL franchise and also played with the Canucks when they were a minor league team in the now defunct WHL.

Dale Tallon - 1970-1973

Tallon was the Canucks 1st round selection and the 2nd player chosen behind Gilbert Perreault in the 1970 NHL Amateur Draft. Tallon was selected to Team Canada's roster for the 1972 Summit Series, but never suited up for a game.
