    Stan "Steamer" Smyl was the former captian of the Vancouver Canucks. He played his entire career with the Canucks and retired in 1991. His jersey number 12, is the only officially retired jersey number in Canucks History and will soon be joined by Trevor Lindens immortal number 16. Wayne Maki's number 11 is unofficially retired. Steamer is currently a Senior Advisor to new Canucks GM Mike Gillis.

    Dave "Tiger" Williams one of hockeys more famed pugilists played for the Vancouver Canucks from 1979-1984. 1324 of Tigers 3966 penalty minutes were earned in a Vancouver uniform. That is equivalent to 2.8 days that tiger spent in a penalty box while playing for Vancouver. After retiring Tiger played 1 game with the famed Vancouver Voodoo of the former professional roller hockey league, Roller Hockey International(RHI).

    A big, bruising stay-at-home defender Harold played from 1974-1984 with the Canucks organizeation. On Feb. 2, 1980 Harold became first Canucks defenseman to be awarded a penalty shot when he scored on Minnesota goaltender Gilles Meloche.

    A success from his first game, Gradin cored 2 goals and 1 assists in his first NHL game with the Vancouver Canucks. Gradin was the first player in Vancouver history to score at least 20 goals in 6 and 7 consecutive seasons. Little known factiod: Played key scouting role in Vancouver's decision to draft the Sedin twins first and second overall in 1999.

    3rd player in NHL history to have 6 assists in a road game on Feb 29, 1984 against the Pittsburgh Pengions. Twin brother of former NHL player Peter Sundstrom, who was born 20 minutes after Patrik's birth.
