Whale Watching Tours
British Columbia's diverse ocean bio-systems are home to an abundance of marine wildlife, birds and fish species, making viewing of all creatures an ever-changing daily experience. One of the most common sights on the tour are pods of orcas, often known as killer whales. These magnificent beasts are distinguished by their sleek black bodies, along with a large white "eyepatch", white underbelly, and a pointed dorsal fin, most often the first thing you'll see coming out of the water. Nothing compares to seeing one of these mysterious creatures leap from the water in an exciting display known as breaching. If you are lucky you may also have the treat of seeing grey whales, minke whales, humpback whales, dolphins, porpoise and many other mammals that frequently call these waters "home".
The spectacular Inner Harbour is the home base for Great Pacific Adventures whale watching tours in Victoria. Locally owned and operated, their family of certified marine biologists and naturalists provide informative insight and in-depth knowledge of the unique habitat, combined with an unsurpassed nature-viewing experience. The company adheres to the strictest wildlife viewing standards in the world to ensure a life-long commitment to the replenishment of our natural resources.
